Trinity Center is hosting our annual Barbara Jordan Celebration on Wednesday, April 29th at 5:30 p.m. in St. David’s Bethell Hall. Fun will be had, money will be raised and many good works will be done on behalf of our beloved neighbors.
The success we have with this yearly fundraiser allows us to provide meals to thousands of our hungry downtown neighbors, financial assistance for medication and replacement of vital documents needed for housing and employment and hundreds of bus passes for needed transportation.
We have served the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our community since 2000, open six days a week offering different programs each day and a safe place to rest and re-charge every day. We are known for our compassion and take pride in the knowledge that many neighbors think of Trinity Center as home.
This year’s recipient of our prestigious Pat Hazel Award is Caroline Kibler, who organizes St. Michael’s Episcopal Church volunteers but seems to have the neighbors on her mind every day of the week. The clothing closet is out of shoes, socks, whatever? Just mention it in passing to Caroline. The award is given to a member of Trinity Center’s community who exemplifies the extraordinary spirit of compassion and love we see in Caroline.
Individual tickets are available for $125, and sponsorships are available from $1,200 to $10,000 by contacting Executive Director Irit Umani at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Time flies when spring arrives, so we just want to get on everybody’s radar — and hopefully on their calendars — before March Madness arrives!
