ADJUSTED SCHEDULE DUE TO COVID CLOSURE:
SUNDAY:
3 p.m. — To-Go meal served outside St. David’s Gym door.
MONDAY-FRIDAY: Neighbor to Neighbor for Men & Women
9 a.m.-9:30 a.m. –Breakfast served to-go outside St. David’s Gym doors.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Mail service, hygiene bags and extra food provided at our 7th St. door.
MONDAY:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Weeklong bus passes provided for men and women at 7th St. door, first-come, first-served.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. — Women’s clothing to-go at St. David’s Gym door.
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. — Assistance with MAP cards
TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Direct Assistance for IDs, Birth Certificates, Food Handler’s Licenses
FRIDAY:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Coordinated Assessment, Follow-up for stimulus checks, resource information

C.D. Doyle Free Healthcare ClinicThe clinic provides health care from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sundays in the St. David’s Gym.The entrance is on Trinity Street. No documents are required, and all services are free. The medical services we provide include blood pressure checks, glucose checks, physical exams, prescriptions, laboratory services, urinalysis, vital signs monitoring and urgent care. We also offer referrals for specialty services. We offer counseling, wellness education on topics including first aid, nutrition, hepatitis, diabetes management, drug and alcohol addiction, smoking cessation, blood pressure surveillance, eye disease and preventative care. |

Clothing Closet:
Sign Up inside, 9 a.m. The Woman 2 Woman program offers access to seasonal clothing, shoes, toiletries. Communities for Recovery: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Resources and referrals for women interested in recovery from addiction. LASSA (Legal Aid to Survivors of Sexual Assault) 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Legal counseling and referrals for survivors. |
Art from the Streets:Art from the Streets uses the Trinity Center facility to operate an open studio and art class for artists who are experiencing homelessness. Materials are provided. Contact AFTS for more details.

Bus Pass Lottery:Lottery outside at 8:45 a.m. Draw a stick for a chance to win 7-day Capital Metro bus pass. Direct Assistance:Sign up inside at 9:00 a.m. On Tuesdays, financial assistance is offered for IDs, Birth Certificates, and Rx co-pays. Individuals are eligible once per month for these services. Our financial assistance, although limited, is aimed at helping our neighbors achieve goals of gaining stability and moving out of homelessness. We are not able to assist with rent, utilities or other financial needs. |
Shower Program:Hosted by volunteers from St. Mark’s Episcopal church, the Shower Program offers a substantial amount of time per person for a private shower. Toiletries and towels are provided.

Bus Pass Lottery:
On Wednesdays, weekly Capital Metro bus passes are handed out through a lottery system. Individuals are eligible each week to draw.

ACCESS Intakes (ATCIC/MHMR)
11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A case manager from ATCIC’s ACCESS program is available for information and intakes every other week. The ACCESS program is geared towards individuals experiencing homelessness and coping with mental health issues. United Healthcare 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Additional coverage for Medicare and Medicaid recipients offered free.

The Challenger Street NewspaperOur mission is to empower people in need with economic opportunity and have their viewpoints heard. This paper uplifts and gives information to our most under-represented people. It encourages responsibility and freedoms necessary to enhance our everyday life. The people we serve have a wealth of information to share with society. The paper contributes, informs, and connects diverse people from all walks of life. The challenge is to end poverty. Central Texas Food Bank: 2nd and 4th Fridays 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Resources and assistance for food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, TANF. CommUnity Care 9:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. MAP and other income-based health care programs.
