Valentine’s Day is not just for lovers, right? It’s a reminder that we should love everyone every day of the year. While we know that’s unlikely for most of us mortals, it’s certainly a worthy goal. Love your family, love your friends, love your neighbors. At Trinity Center we strive every day to love our neighbors, greet them with a smile and treat them with respect.
So as we share little candy hearts and maybe a flower or two with the special people in our lives, let’s also remember to celebrate a deeper, broader definition of love. Smile at a stranger who seems lonely. Chances are pretty good that person will smile back. Gratitude isn’t a once-a-year thing reserved for Thanksgiving, and love shouldn’t be reserved for Valentine’s Day. Let’s open our hearts and celebrate love every day of the year!
